The Inn at Mount Snow

2009 National Trials Championship, Highgate VT

Three time National Trials Champion, Pat Smage competing at the National Observed Trials Championship held in July  2009 at Highgate Springs Vermont.

Trials riding is a specialized type of motorcycle riding that emphasizes skill and throttle control over raw speed. Riders compete on a course filled with natural obstacles, like large boulders, trees, roots and rough terrain. The course must be negotiated within a 90 second time limit without putting your foot down. Each time a rider puts a foot down, they are assessed a penalty point. The rider with the fewest points wins.
