MotoVermont has announced that adventure journalist and riding coach Bill Dragoo has signed on as Chief Instructor for their 2016 Training Tour July 9-12. Dragoo will be assisted by Fran Tully of Dual-Sport School and Guided Adventure Rides in Utah.
Dragoo has been on the podium at the Rawhyde Adventure Rider’s Challenge two of the last three times he has competed, taking a first and second place finishes. In 2010 Bill was part of the three man Team USA in BMW’s GS Trophy adventure riding competition in South Africa, Swaziland and Mozambique. He has also taught adventure riding in Bolivia and the US at schools like ADV Moto, Adventure Rider, BMW ON, Overland Journal and Outdoor X4.
Fran Tully is an adventure rider based out of Utah. Tully rides 30,000 miles per year all over the U.S. Mexico and Canada. He founded Utah’s first and only adventure riding school.
With addition of two instructors the instructor-to-student ratio will be 1:5, giving students plenty of personal attention.
The MotoVermont Training Tours get riders into some of the most rugged terrain in New England. On a typical training tour, riders encounter mud, steep hills, boulders and water crossings. To learn more about the MotoVermont Training Tour, see this posting in the Events section.
