  • Events This Weekend: May 18th - 20th

    The riding weather is going to be perfect this weekend with temperatures in the mid to upper seventies on both Saturday and Sunday. It's going to be a great weekend to enjoy events happening around the State.

  • Crossroads Motorcycle Rally Sponsors Bike Night

    The Crossroads Motorcycle Rally is sponsoring a series of Bike Nights at Mulligan’s Irish Pub in Barre to promote this year’s rally. The Bike Nights will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., the third Wednesday of the month, in May, June and July. The first night is May 16th.

  • Vermont to Become Last State Where Side-by-Side Riding Is Illegal

    In July, Vermont will become the only state in the nation where it is illegal for motorcyclists to ride side by side, when a Virginia law goes into effect making it legal in that state. The Virginia law was passed at the end of February and takes effect July 1.

  • Smugglers Notch, Route 108 Opens for Season

    Route 108 through Smugglers Notch, between Stowe and Jeffersonville was open this week, making it possible ride from Stowe to Jeffersonville directly. The Vermont Department of Transportation shuts down the notch road annually due to snow and ice.

  • Mothers for Daughters

    The 5th Annual Mothers for Daughters Motorcycle Weekend to Benefit Breast and Ovarian Cancer Research is May 18th through 20 th in West Dover VT. The event combines fun with raising money for a good cause.

  • Whitehorse Gear Open House

    The Annual Whitehorse Gear Open House, is Saturday, May 19th. This event draws hundreds of bikes each year for food, raffles, gear specials and "general moto-merriment". Additional details will be posted as soon as they are known.

  • Land-Air Honda-Suzuki Open House

    Land-Air Honda-Suzuki in Essex Junction is having their annual open house on Saturday May 19th. There will be a Custom Bike show with one overall winner voted by people's choice. Prizes are a $500 gas card for first place, a $200 Land-Air gift cerfiticate for second and a $100 Land-Air gift certificate for third. As always, there will be free refreshments, giveaways, big discounts on new and used vehicles and up to 75% off parts and accessories. 

  • Brandon Riders Second Annual Poker Run

    Brandon Post 55 is holding their Second Annual Poker Run and Barbeque on Satrurday May 19th to benefit the American Legion Legacy Fund. Registration is 10-11 a.m. at the Brandon Post 55 Legion. The cost is $25 for a rider with a passenger and $10 for a rider alone.

     

  • New England Ducati Owners Meet In The Middle Ride

    The New England Ducati Owners are having their annual Meet In The Middle Ride on Saturday, May 20th. This event brings together Ducati riders from across the New England states for a celebration of Ducati pride and a general all-around good time.

  • Bristol-App Gap-Middlebury Gap Ride

    The Bristol, App Gap, Middlebury Gap ride contains four mountain passes in a 67 mile, two hour loop. The highlight of the ride is the 7 mile, 53 turn Appalachian-Gap, which is the best sport-bike road in the state.

  • VT-289 to VT-117/VT-2 Richmond

     This short link is great fun when you can get it without commuting traffic. The route starts at Suise Willson Rd in Essex Jct and ends at the intersection of VT-117 and VT-2. The ride features a some great high speed sweepers, a nice high speed tight section and some straightways.

  • Pleasant Valley, Fairfield, Bakersfield Loop Ride

    This ride is mostly country roads, with rolling hills and sweepers that features some great views of the western slopes of Mount Mansfield. If you are riding early in the morning, Pleasant Valley Road can present some sporty sections.

  • Pumpkin Harbor Road, Fairfield, Barkersfield Loop

    This quick loop takes you through the little traveled towns of Fairfield and Bakersfield VT. The ride features mostly sweeping turns linked together with short straights.
