I shot over 400 pictures on Friday afternoon and know that I missed some good ones. The number of shots on the memory card is always greater than the number in the gallery, but selecting the best from this past Friday was more difficult than usual.
The tone of Canada Street in Lake George Friday was edgier than any day in my experience during four Americades. I think it was a positive change for an event that felt flat to me during the previous two years. This past week has definitely revitalized my interest in the event and next year I am planning on making a bigger investment than the two days I spent there this year.
