Classic Bike Experience Cafe Racer TV Episodes Ready to Air

The Classic Bike Experience in Essex will be featured on the Discovery Channel's new channel, Velocity TV,  on October 20th, 27th and November 3rd. The episodes chronicle the restoration and conversion of a Norton Commando owned by Louie and John from The Hot Rod Hotel in Buchanan NY.

Cafe Racer TV is a television show that features cafe racer style motorcycles. Cafe racers predate sport bikes and were popular during the 1960's in Britain. Riders looking for performance transformed standard motorcycles into cafe racers by stripping bikes to their essentials and modifying them to reduce weight and improve performance. They were called cafe racers because riders would race them between the cafes of London.

The Cafe Racer TV show airs at 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday nights.

If you miss the show on TV, the Classic Bike Experience has copies of the program on DVD at their shop. Stop-by and watch the DVD's on their big screen TV.
