Cyclewise of New Haven VT had their annual open house Saturday May 9th. The event was well attended with hundreds of area motorcyclists attending, despite threatening skies.
There were several interesting bikes at the event, including the Addison County Sheriff's department BMW motorcycle.
Miles Hubert of MotoFab in Bristol VT had his custom pit bike racer on display. Miles had done various custom modifications including fitting the bike with sport bike rubber, upgrading the engine, customizing the engine mounting system and building a custom exhaust.
Paul McMahon of Waltham VT had his custom build ElecTrike single passenger 3-wheeled commuter vehicle on hand. The bike was built from an Arctic Cat ZL snowmobile frame and Yamaha R6 wheels, brakes and swing arm. Paul said he was inspired to build the bike by high gas prices and a love of inventing.
Cyclewise provided a nice free BBQ lunch and a technical demonstration.
