VT Bike Night AJ Bosworth Fund Raiser

Vermont Bike Night is sponsoring a fund raiser to benefit AJ Bosworth, January 30th at 7 p.m. at Donny's Pizza in Winooski. AJ, a motorcycle enthusiast and frequent bike night attendee, recently contracted Guillian-Barre Syndrome. The disease causes the immune system to attack the peripheral nervous system and can cause paralysis and sometimes death. Bosworth had just started a new job when he was struck and his health insurance benefit did not cover him.
The fund raiser has been organized quickly, so complete details are not yet known. VT Bike Night plans on having raffles as part of the event and is actively looking for donations of goods or services to raffle. If you have a service or product that you wish to donate for a raffle please contact Bill Russell. The fund raiser has a goal of $3,000, with proceeds going directly to help AJ with home expenses and medical bills. Over a thousand dollars has been raised so far. Twenty percent of the funds raised above $3,000 will go to research on Guillian-Barre Syndrome.
