The 2010 Vermont Thunder Ride to honor veterans, soldiers missing in action and prisoners of war will be held on Memorial Day weekend, Sunday, May 30th.
The ride will begin staging at 9 a.m. at the Vermont Vietnam Veterans Memorial Welcome Center in Sharon on I89 and leave immediately after an 11 a.m. wreath laying ceremony.
The riders will travel to J. Hutchins in Richmond where a second group of motorcyclists will join the procession. The group will leave Richmond at 1:45 p.m. and travel to Veterans park in Enosburg Falls. A lunch at the American Legion will follow the ride.
Patches, pins, rockers, and flags will be on sale. Proceeds from the sales will benefit veterans and their families.
