Laconia Motorcycle Week

6/9/2012 - 6/17/2012
Saturday June 9th through Sunday June 17th
Laconia, NH - map

The 89th Anniversary Laconia Motorcycle Week is June 9th through June 17th. The rally is the largest in the northeast and draws hundreds of thousands of riders each year. If you have never been to bike week, you owe it to yourself to go and be a part it.

There are events everyday, for every type of rider. There are group rides through the White Mountains, custom bike shows, and demo rides. You can see bands and visit vendors on vendor row. For a complete schedule of events, see the offical schedule.

Weirs Beach is the center of activity for cruising the crowd. The town closes Weirs Beach Boulevard to non-motorcycle traffic and the road becomes a motorcycle showcase for hundreds of bikes. Parking on the Boulevard is free, but you'll need to get there early.

The rally has its roots in motorcycle racing and the Loudon Classic is still held each year. The Classic is the longest running event in North America and features racing from amatures to experts. The U.S. Legend Cars International -- a racing class for cars powered by motorcycle engines -- will run during the Classic weekend, June 15th through 17th.

The Loudon Classic is held at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon NH, south of the main rally. Tickets are sold at the gate and are $10 for adults and $5 for youth. An infield pass is $10 and lets you walk through the pit area and see the bikes up close.
