The annual Dream Ride brings together motorcycle riders and car enthusiasts from eight states, starting from twenty-nine different locations around New England in a ride to raise money for the Special Olympics. Over the ten years of the event, 10,000 people have participated and raised $800,000.
This year’s ride is August 20th and 22nd. Green Mountain Harley Davidson in Essex Junction and Wilkins Harley Davidson of Barre are joining to coordinate the Vermont ride. A group will depart from Green Mountain Harley at 10:30 on the 21st and ride to Wilkins, where they join riders gathered there. The combined group will then ride to Connecticut, where Dream Rides from across New England will meet.
The first 1,000 people to register will receive a Dream Ride t-shirt and pin set. All online registrants will be entered into a drawing to win an 8 day/7 night vacation. A minimum donation of $30 per driver and $20 per passenger is requested.
