Riders laugh before rides on Saturday morning

The Bennington Triumph Bash, an independent, grassroots rally for Triumph riders, is June 1st through 3rd in Bennington VT. “The Bash”, as it’s known to members of the TriumphRAT.net forum, began as a farewell gathering for a friend and has grown into a party that draws riders from across the US and Canada.

The event is free, as it always has been. While it began as a Triumph enthusiasts rally, it is not limited to Triumph riders. Riders of Norton, Ducati, and other brands who like to ride with spirit will feel at home here.

The itinerary centers on riding, eating meals and socializing. The “official” itinerary begins on Friday afternoon with a gathering at theBennington Station restaurant between 1:30 and 3 p.m. and a group ride to follow.

On Saturday there are group rides of various lengths and styles. Choose a ride that suits your preference or choose your own route. At 7 p.m. there is dinner and drinks at Bennington Station. Pre-registration for Saturday dinner is required, to enable organizers to get an accurate count for the restaurant. After dinner there is a 50/50 raffle and door prizes. Details on the Saturday dinner can be found here.

To offset event costs there are donation jars at the event. Raffle ticket sales and event sponsors also support the event. Any excess is given to charity.

Lodging discounts are available at the Paradise Inn. Make sure to mention you are making reservations for the Bash. The Inn reserves a block of rooms, but sells out quickly. Mentioning the Bash may be necessary to get a reservation and the discount.

The Greenwood Campground is another lodging option. The campground has hostel-style lodging and campsites.
